Bahrain, The final round of the FIA WEC

Traveled to the Kingdom of Bahrain for the final round of the FIA WEC and Audi's final race after announcing their pulling the plug after 13 years of pretty much dominating endurance racing.

1.Race control!

2.Ford had a good first year with a Le Mans win

3.For Toyota it was a season of frustration, not least Le Mans where they were 3min 20 sec from a historic first win only to loose out to Porsche after coming to a halt on the start finish straight

4.Aston Martin won the GTE Pro World championship

5.Porsche will be back with a brand new mid engined factory 911 effort next year

6.And Audi said goodbye with a fitting 1-2 finish

Wonderful set of shots. Difficult to pick a favourite but would probably go for the last two because of the lighting. No2 is not too bad though, as is no4.

Superb work mate. My fav is the first one of Race Control. Nice framing, great light.

There's not a bad one there, but #2 with its unusual backdrop wins for me

The race images are great and I particularly like the lighting of the Porsche but as someone whose main interest is landscapes I have to say I'm drawn to the Race Control shot as it's a stunner
