Welcome to Challenge 124. In this challenge I'm looking for images of bicycles or related images - these could be anything from cyclists on bikes either singular or a complete peloton, bikes in locations or situations, the old bike in the shed, creative bike related images right through to macros of component parts....so anything cycling related. Images that capture an atmosphere, invoke a feeling or inspiration with angles, lighting, mono etc etc.
Bicycles includes tandems, road bikes, mountain bikes, BMX, gravel bikes, kids bikes, shoppers, folders, utility bikes....there's just so much to go at.....over to you.
Please read the general rules below.
The competition subject shall be selected by the winner of the preceding competition who will also judge the competition.
One picture per person; images should conform to general image posting rules.
Please use an EOS Canon camera - DSLR or M series
Posted images should be taken during the running period of the competition. Any images submitted that were taken before the competition started, or after the competition has ended, will be deemed invalid.
Images 800 pixels widest max (to help those with small monitors).
No Photoshop frames and borders.
Include a title; the image must convey the theme without title description.
Please, NO comments on images- on this or another thread- until the round is over.
No canvassing e.g. Im thinking of posting this image for the challenge, what do you think?
I will pick 1st, 2nd and 3rd favourite images (please dont PM me to discuss my choices).
Closing date for entries is midnight (in the UK) on Sunday 18 December. Hopefully that gives you plenty of time for you come up with your super bike pics. I hope the upward trend of entry numbers continues.
