    The light

    Thought I would try shooting under and pulling the light into a silhouette - Its been processed dark so probably not to everyones liking, but I like to be different

    Not too sure about this one Ian. No problem re the processing just find my eye is all over the frame.

      agree the framing isn't great but I had spot lights all around me and new if I clipped them it would spoil the image

              I think the problem was the main element you wanted to highlight was far darker than some of the surrounding areas so the eye didn't actually settle where you intended.

              It also made think of this:

                        Ah the Tigger dark period again lol. I like it, the darker processing means I need to look harder and closer

                          Hmmm, the thing is, when I stop and examine it, the detail is revealed. And the detail is indeed lovely. But the trouble is, if it wasn't one of yours and on here I wouldn't have stopped and zoomed in. Perhaps it just needs something brighter to drag the viewer in.
