    Soap Bubble Refractions +.........

    ........a spiral

    Miserable weather again this morning so following Jonathan Teatimes post, so did some bubble refractions and added the spiral for something a bit different

            For the record, here is the original as shot. In the past I have used coloured paper for the refractions but this time they are a number of different coloured beer bottle tops

              What was your set up?

              Is it my imagination or do the three largest droplets to the left of the image have micro bubbles embedded in them?

                Great idea using beer bottle tops
                not from beer drunk by me but collected a while ago for another project and thoight the different colours would work as an alternative to coloured paper

                What was your set up?
                similar to yuors except I used a pyrex dish with water and washing up liquid and a little oil and lit from under by a single desk lamp, shot with Canon 100 f2.8 LIS macro

                no, I think they are reflections from the lamp
