So glad to hear things Are much better so do enjoy Christmas.

We put our trust in the doctor / consultant but they certainly do not always get it right as I my self have found out in recent years.

Thanks Sue. The problem is I don't want to be a statistic for doctor's mistakes. I will be the sufferer for the rest of my life.

Thanks Bo. I think I have been OK all along but it was the misdiagnosis since July of this year which made me sick needlessly.

Blimey Nat, glad you're sorted now, I've been treated for an enlarged prostate for some years myself, it was found when a kidney stone got stuck. Luckily my doctors have been very thorough and I have no complaints, worrying though to start with.

Thanks Tiger. I am still getting over the 9 months scare (from April last year)- have been living under a cloud. I have lodged a formal complaint against the Nigerian Urologist. I don't mind dying from age related causes but not as a result of a medical mistake!!!!!!!

Re: Good news for me at Christmas!

Good to hear things are now heading in the correct direction Nat.

I was diagnosed with early stage Prostate Cancer back in 2012, and underwent 7.5 weeks of Radio Therapy, which caused radiation damage to the bottom end of my Colon, almost certainly causing the Cancer tht appeared there a couple of years later.

Thankfully caught early, and dealt with by major surgery.

So, very often that teatment to cure one ill, can cause another, a 'two edged sword' as they say.

                                All the best for 2017.
