              Thanks Bob and Alan. I am not sure that I have the patience to be a painter. Its a bit like the faff that was the temporary darkroom when you had to convert your bathroom into a passable darkroom without thermostatic control over the temperature! The results were very variable, especially when doing colour, which you had to do virtually blind. The same with paints - I had aspirations to be a painter when I was a child and had watercolours, oils, pastels and all sorts. But I am enjoying this concept of painterly photographs! I even went out and took photographs of brick walls, stones in the cathedral wall and much, much more the other day to layer into photographs... Never a dull moment!!!
