    Hi from Russia

Happy christmas from a VERY wet Saint Petersburg ;o(

Got here 3 days ago and its not been a great start as the cases vanished and only found out today they are now back at Saint Petersburg after a round trip to Japan ...think they had the better holiday - so had to buy some clothes and bits to keep me going, also tripod in case

Its not stopped peeing down here, hopefully tomorrow is supposed to be better but still heavy cloud and grey, you can see why Russians are so grumpy LOL

I'm off to a ball tonight so tuxedo hired - but its odd being somewhere on the 25th with all shops open

Hope you all have a great xmas

Happy Christmas, Ian. Obviously this Christmas will be a difficult time for you, so I think you've done a brilliant thing to go somewhere completely different. Enjoy Saint Petersburg, I went a couple of years ago and it is a fascinating place, with wonderful photographic opportunities. Ah, the bling of the palaces! Perfect for Christmas.

We are in Prague , cold and rainy..... but no snow. Have taken a few doorways but obviously lack the TiggerTouch!!

                        Re: Hi from Russia

at last a dry night and was able to get out and push the Mk IV with some night brackets at 10k - 25k - Normally it would be mounted on the tripod and 30 sec plus shots at 100 ISO so will be interesting to see how the camera performs ....Hopefully case will turn up tomorrow as its now back in Russia, when I'll get it will be another question, but I'm heading further North thursday to -25-35 temps and lots of snow so should be interesting if not frigging cold
