    Alternative Kingswear

By rights this should be in Landscape but CS6 had other ideas and with serendipity produced this instead of the pano stitch I'd intended:

Kingswear, Devon by John Leah, on Flickr

I'm still not sure what happened but the result was better than the pano I'd planned

    Happy New Year

    Cheers,
    John

The question is - can you do it again?

          Nice glitch, love it :)

As has already been asked can you reproduce this effect at will now?

              Re: Alternative Kingswear

Sorry chaps but I still have no idea how this happened

I'd taken five images from LR to PS for stitching which worked well enough but some foreground rooflines were a bit wonky so I tried to apply an Adaptive Wide Angle filter to straighten them and that is when it went weird. However, all attempts to repeat it today with all setting permutations, have been unsuccessful.

I stitch panos often and have seen some big distortions before but that's always been due to careless framing on my part which wasn't the case here.

I'll upload elsewhere what the image should have been like.

              Cheers,
              John
