    New Year reolutions

Has anyone else made photographic New Year resolutions? I have three :

    1. Don't buy ANY more kit this year (apart from the odd battery or memory card if required). I really don't need anything else.

    2. Focus attention on just three sites. Nature and flowers being my only interest these are : my garden and allotment, some ancient flower-rich hay meadows and a large native woodland, the last two both being nature reserves. Trying to capture as much as possible of the life in these would actually provide enough challenge for several years. I need something to concentrate my mind.

    3. Take more photos! Many more photos!

You will definetly need a two battery grip if you get the sport ant ,otherwise it's front heavy

Was part of my reasoning. Someone I know thinks that powering the Sigma drains the battery quicker too.
