Well today i went to Jessops and bought myself a brand new Tamron 150-600mm lens but unfortunately the weather was rubbish so I didn't even get out with it. On another note I didn't realise how big and heavy it is. I think it weighs about 2Kg. Definitely one for the tripod.

                          Re: Newbie here from Clydebank

Today I received my Rogue Safari from Ebay brand new in sealed package for only £12.
Only played around for a few minutes and my first impression was WOW!!!!! That is stupid bright. Such a simple idea which is basically just a lens like you see on top of a lighthouse. And it weighs nothing.

                            Hi and Welcome,

I am a newbie as well so still finding may way around the forum.

Apparently the Rogue Safari is not compatible with my 50D but I would be interested to know how you get on with it.

                            Regards

                            Tony

I also had a Zenith one, really nice pictures. Sometimes i get some photos on it, just to make the whole developing process. RAW files is great but i can`t quite have so much fun like from original properties.

I couldn't see any reason why that should be correct, have just tested it with my 50D and it works fine, no problems at all. It should work with any SLR with a pop up flash.
