Nice photo , shame about the white out in the eyes , sure it can be fixed digitally , but wonder if there is away you can avoid it in the first place , anybody ?

External flash angled up a little, or maybe a pop up flash defuser?

Safari Rougue with diffuser might have done the trick, but still great to get an urban fox.

It's also not that well focused as i was using manual so it wouldn't make a noise. I had even put dark clothes on in the hope he wouldn't see me but he did and stopped dead in his tracks.
We get then all the time up here and they make some scary noises.

Never see a fox in this rural part of Scotland, though the local gamekeeper had a dead one on the back of his Land Rover for over a week, so that is no surprise.

That's because they're in urban areas raking in the bins for food. Easy pickings rather than hunting for meals. We see them on a daily basis.

You could be right. With all the turkey I've eaten over Christmas I probably smell like one.

Took the flashed eyes out just using the edit function on the iPad.
