Ahhh the wonders of modern shopping, As I mentioned elsewhere I bought a demo tripod off the UK Feisol importer who is giving up the brand. One of these

For those that haven't heard of them, they are as good in my eyes as Gitzo, but without the cost, for years they have produced tripods for the worlds' leading companies. I have owned one of their monopods for a year with my Really Right Stuff head on it and it is superb, easily supporting my Ef500MM and camera. The one thing the importer didn't have was a levelling base I wanted for the new tripod so I ordered it on the 1st from Feisol Europe and waited, it arrived today and they have only sent the wrong one...... receipt etc has the correct model, however, the one shipped isn't.............. ARRRRRRRRHGGGGGGHHHH...

Rant over, BTW, the quality of the one sent is superb too and makes me want it even more

When I was buying a carbon fibre tripod I checked prices and Jessops agreed to match price I'd found so decided to give then my business. Ordered online to collect the following day.

Guess what, even being invoiced for and paying price for the CF one, what turned up was aluminium! To say I wasn't pleased. Had to go back following day, got £20 of price though.
