My lady wife & I are planning a safari in Botswana in late Spring. The trip includes 10 days in camps in the bush with no electricity. Because we'll be using light aircraft for some of the hopping between camps there is a severe luggage weight restriction - 20kg including hand luggage & cameras.
I have been told (still checking) that there is a facility to charge mobile phones in the jeeps - I assume a USB style port (I'm checking on this). But this won't do to charge the batteries of my 7DII (LP-E6N) in the Canon charger I normally use.
Does anyone know of/has anyone used a charger for the LP6EN which can be powered from a USB port?
I realise I could buy a battery pack and a stack of AA batteries, but we're back to the weight issue.
Any feedback, much appreciated. Thanks.
