    VIP only

I wasn't able to explore as much as I wanted but got a few shots around the metro

Love the DoF of 11-24, wide open at F4

Another great shot - but I feel it needs some rotation clockwise to balance it ...

cheers I rotated that shot so many times in the end settled with this - I think its a slight angle and the view upwards that gives it the twisted look, we'll thats what I'm sticking with LOL

      glad you liked it

My first reaction was that it needed a slight anti-clockwise rotation .
I bet you didn't have your tape measure with you to get on the exact centre line of the staircase.
        A really nice shot

I tried to get center but a fence was blocking it, plus no photos allowed in the metro, it really was a case of getting in place as best as possible and getting the shot - a VERY large metro guard headed straight towards me when I was taking the shot but was able to get onto the escalator and get away :)

Interesting to get the opposite reaction regarding rotation ... my geometrical OCD is banging away in my head simply because the horizontal roof panel divider lines are not levelled and thus my whole world is crumbling as I grasp for something to cling to ... :-)

Still think it's a great capture of a classic scene though!

sort of shot I like taking on the London underground. Looks like the light was a lot better than london though as I am usually shooting at between 3200 and 640 to get a reasonable shutter speed

I like this one and think it works well in mono True it's not quite central but there always seems to be something placed in the way to foil photographers

                      Cheers,
