Out of interest, were you on-field? I often end up with blue flashing lights and questions even when outside the perimeter fence ...

Outside the fence, Pembrey is a private civilian airfield, alongside the RAF Range, and motor sports centre. Airfield used by military for fuel stops etc. The owner has no problems with visitors right up to the fence, and no military security to worry about. Airfield is lightly used so mil shots are very adhoc, I called in for chat and cuppa in the café very late today and just got lucky, but no light. Owner very affable could be worth a phone call to check A/C movements should any one think of visiting.
