    425

ugly rainy day, so I was working on some images that I took in the fall to print and hang in my office. Of these two, which one would you print.

Both really good Tom, if only you could combine the two. For me the first would already be up and enjoyed

Both excellent, Tom, but for me the first is a clear preference. I like the fact that the plume of smoke is complete and how it fits the shape of the landscape behind and I think the silhouetted human figures add an extra dimension (they are representing us as the viewer). Plus the lead in line takes you into the action rather than out the back.

First for me too. If second had had a bit less foreground and more of the plume I think it would have been hard to choose between them.

                    Re: 425

Both great processing but it would be the first one for my wall due to the height of the exhaust. The second has some good drama from the cylinder drain cocks but, ideally, it should have been taken a few seconds later to place it better. Perhaps cropping could improve it.

                    Cheers,
                    John

Thanks Enigma, Ian, Brian, Alan, GraemeCamera, Derek, Alex, Ant, & John for your input. I wish I could afford to print both, but for a 12X18 the cost is 63.32 pounds as I have it printed on Acrylic.

                          that is some smoke Tom

I would have gone for the second but for the fact of the modern cars in the scene
