Every few weeks I go onto canon.co.uk, then onto the support section. From here you can enter your camera, printer etc and they will tell you what the latest drivers and canon software are for your hardware.

Just for information Nat, you could buy Affinity Photo for Windows

I have Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC at home , but in work on my windows 10 machine I have affinity - I have to say it is pretty much as good as full blown photoshop - there are some little things that are not quite as good (but remember I am comparing it to full PS, not elements)but they are minor and many of them are really just a bit different that is all , AND it comes with pretty much most of the Lightroom functionality included as part of the same software.

        and what's more - its only £38.99

Thanks Celtex. I am now getting the hang of PSE 15. Very interestingly, my clever IT called round today and has also installed PSE 8 on my computer. So I have now got both PSE 8 & PSE 15.

Why have PSE 8? Far better to take the time to get familiar with latest version.

I fully agree. I haven't used PSE 8 since I got PSE 15. I have requested my IT chap to remove PSE 8 from my computer as I don't want these to clash- if they will ever do!!!!!!

Probably won't clash but will be so different trying to use both would likely cause more confusion.

I was told that PSE 15 would over-write PSE 8 but has not happened. Do you think I should go back and re-install PSE 15.

Since installing PSE 15 I have noted that some of my old e-mails have been re-sent (not many) to the recipients;also some old pics have appeared on facebook as well (I do post some images here). Any idea how/why this has happened?

I have the CC deal till June, then will not carry on with it. As I have LR6 Standalone and Elements 15 so for what I do that will do me, plus have Paintshop Pro X8 and Elements 11 with Nik Collection.

Now that I have both PSE 15 & 8 on my computer, I presume I can leave PSE 8 as it is and carry on with my PSE 15.

Yes, it works very well. PSE 8 is supported by Windows vista, Windows 7 and Windows XP. With hindsight I should have either run PSE 8 with Windows Vista to the ground or upgraded to Windows 7 for a good few years. Anyway, call it one of my "mad" moments to upgrade to Windows 10!
Just for your info, I have advertised PSE 8 on Ebay at £25 (excellent condition) with free p&P. The PSE 8 Dummies book is also advertised on Ebay for approx £15 or £16 with £3.50 P&P. Needless to say both items are in prestine condition- i.e as "new"!
