    In Conversation at STEAM I

Last friday evening we did a photoshoot at The Swindon Steam Museum, organised by Timeline Events. We did one with them last year and were looking forward to some great shots but it was really disappointing, disorganised, 40 photographers shooting in only three "scenes" and at two of which space was so restricted it was difficult to get a clear shot.
I doubt we will go with them again which is a shame as this location has great potential

Anyway did get a few shots worth processing

          thanks for looking guys

you do get a good variety of shots stan
these were the people in the entrance hall at the Photography Show last year. They do a very wide variety of shoots but this is not one I would recommend for anyone to consider as with the numbers of photographers, for this sort of venue somewhere between 12 and 20 would be ideal but, as on Friday, 40 is too many

A really good shot Stan: well composed and lit with a good bit of steam for atmosphere I get the impression she's asking: "I'm looking for Trevor Howard, have you seen him?"

            Cheers,

I've never done a Timeline Event but was looking at their website yesterday, at a late afternoon and evening event at Stow Maries airfield. It said 'only' 20 tickets left, so I wondered then how many they are hoping will attend.

we did one at Didcot last year where there were a couple of dozen, mixture of inside and outside shooting ,it was more organised with being split into 3 groups so nobody really got in anybodys way.

I would imagine that at Stoke there would be a similar number to Swindon but if its outside and organised better it would not be too bad. However with my experience of last week I am quite put off going with them again
