Yeovil - the final path we all have to follow

We were in Yeovil today and while SWMBO did the business, I wandered towards the town and spent a few minutes in the cemetery.

I toyed with that Ian, as below, but I wasn't sure that it was an improvement - I'm willing to be convinced though!

Nice image and I agree about the crop in fact, I may be inclined to lose just a tad more placing the top branch equidistant from the top and right edges

          Cheers,

Thanks for looking and commenting John - I guess the crop improves things by making the buildings more prominent in the overall image

Funny to have two buildings mirrored like that, christenings in the one on the left, life in the middle and funerals in the one on the right???

I prefer the first one as it gives the buildings a sense of height.

Nice set John, great composition with the position of the path, well captured.

I suspect (but do not know for sure) it is more to do with the chapels being one Catholic and one C of E.

                  Further info:-
"The cemetery was consecrated in September 1860. Of the twin mortuary chapels, the eastern chapel was consecrated for the use of Church of England use while the western mortuary chapel remained unconsecrated for use by Non-Conformist"

Very nice image with good lead via the path. I prefer the "less sky" crop but there's little between the two. Nice colour on the buildings.
