    The Old Fish Quay

This small stub of a quay in Torquay Harbour, among the multi-million pound gin-palaces on the marina (many of which never seem to leave their berths) and pleasure boats of the Inner Harbour, is all that's left of the once flourishing Torquay fishing industry.

The boat, Brixham registered BM482 "Mary Anne", is stern on and having her nets reset.

Really like both of those scenes of working boats, John. The first especially I find beautifully composed, and what a lovely sky!

                  Re: The Old Fish Quay

lovely shots John, spent 25yrs inspecting vessels and gear like those shown, shame to see the decline of a hard way of life and the fishing industry in UK.

Lovely images John, and a real shame the way the British fishing industry has been allowed to dwindle to a shadow of it's former self.
