Millenium Bridge on a miserable day

Haven't post for some time - no excuses, just one of those phases you go through

Anyway, I had some jobs to do 'down south in the smoke' and had a day of rest between them. As it turned out the day was overcast with drizzle thrown in, in other words 'atmosphere'. With the whole day to kill I decided to survey some of the locations that I intended to visit for night shots and take test shots. I particularly like bridges (being a bridge engineer helps) and have visited this one many times in the past.
My intention was to use the big stopper to remove people but this as one of the initial setup shots caught my eye.

These two just would not move but just stood there chatting away, so I took the shot anyway.

OOps maybe I should resize before posting - sorry!!!

It took a long wait to get this trouble was too many tourists but helped by the drizzle

This one was taken using the big stopper filter

same settings except f14 and 26 seconds.

you can make out some ghost people which if I had used a lower iso and longer exposure would have eliminated them

i totally agree with you the daytime shots were 'sample' shots to determine where to setup etc. At the shard I was approached by security to see if the shots were for personal use only!! as the land was in fact private property even though the public had full access.
