    Little courtyard church

Headed into one of the local villages and had to track down the old part which normally has the church, it wasn't too impressive but managed to get one shot I was happy with

    Re: Little courtyard church

It is such a classic looking church but the buildings around it just kill the ambience it casts. I know you can't do anything about that but that's just me lamenting the location of a pretty church. I like the photo overall just so you know! The barrel distortion on the cobblestones I am surprised about on that lens though. That is a good lens!

cheers and to be honest I didn't mind the houses ..Theres no barrel distortion, its the road its got a slope on it as the church like most is on the top of a hill

Very nice composition and processing Ian, sky just adds to it. Barrel distortion, nah, that was after just after you had emptied it down the road hic!

Nice although I initially thought there was some distortion, checking the heights of the bottom row of blocks confirmed it was just a slope

          Cheers,

For me the sky is the star. The church is a little, meh and not best placed
