It rained all weekend when we went .......probably one of the least known about wettest places on earth. At least the Rialto bridge wasn't covered in graffiti (that must be an Italian word).

I imagine a trip to Venice has to include a trip in a Gondola, have to say it doesn't look much fun though under a brolly

we had a gondola booked for the saturday afternoon as part of the trip but by that time it was pouring so missed out

Moral of the photograph: don't go to northern Italy in February... unless you are skiing somewhere a lot, lot higher than Venice...

Catches the atmosphere!
