Re: Twin Suns of the River Dart
It doesn't look over-sharpened to me. It is a pretty scene and the reflection of the sun in the water came out excellent. For me the composition is good but the branches really compete with the flares of the sun (non-reflected) which is what captured my eye. All the branches distracted my eye a bit. It made it seem busy to me. GREAT eye though! Good capture!

Re: Twin Suns of the River Dart
Lovely image, John, I love the light and texture of the branches. I also like how the sun is partially obscured, yet its reflection is in full view, and with a great star burst. But I'm with Paul on the lens flare, and I've recently watched some videos on removing it in PS too and I feel your pain. To be honest in that jumble of branches I would just clone stamp it out. You can't do that to the flare bottom left but I don't think that is bothering anyone.Canon EOS 7D

Re: Twin Suns of the River Dart
OK I listened to the comments on the lens flare and cloned the central flare out
Talking of lens flare here's the original showing the magnificent rainbow and the reason why I cropped it as I did :5D3_5382-3.jpg
Cheers,
John
