    Goldcrest

This one and a few more I will share at some point really took all my patience. These tiny birds are always on the move and spend most of their time at the top of trees or skulking around in the undergrowth. It looks there is a breeding pair formed in this particular location as I have found them on three separate occasions within the same area so have had a few attempts at trying to get a shot worth posting.

That's a good shot. There are a few around very close to home, but as you say, they're tricky little blighters to get a decent shot, and I've singularly failed to get one thus far. Well done!

Excellent Steve. I've seen this little devils only rarely and as you say, they don't stay still for long.

                    Re: Goldcrest

Very nice, the important part, i.e. the body and head of the bird is right on, can see what is meant in regard to the branch, the LH end looks slightly odd, presume it's angled back and is the result F2.8, slight halo effect on the top part too but I wouldn't say they detract from the shot at all.

                    Regards Paul
