    Signs of Spring

On a trip to RHS Wisley last weekend, the honeybees were active on sweet scented Daphne blossom.

    Re: Signs of Spring

No response from the original posters on two questions I answered recently about radio triggers and DSLR controller, and 50 views of what must be a c**p image, because it elicited not a single comment/feedback.

Time to give up on this forum I think.

Sorry Russell, Just noticed this image. You can spot the pollen bags on it's legs, indeed by the temperatures here you would think it is spring and not the winter. Over all the image does seem a little soft IMO.

Please don't, Russell. I for one always value your thoughtful and considered advice. Yes it is somewhat rude of a poster not to acknowledge those that have responded to a question that they asked, but we all sometimes post up images that are seemingly ignored. I don't think anyone should take this as a slight, I do not comment on every thread I look at, sadly I don't have the time. An average response seems to be between 5 and 10 comments per thread, so by the law of averages there will always be some with none.

          Re: Signs of Spring

Not been commenting much on here recently, lots going on. In fact my cameras haven't seen light of day for some time. Hoping to change that soon.

Anyway have to admit I missed the WDYT below the image.

So here's my thoughts which you can ignore if you wish. Personally I'd like the bee to be larger in the frame so larger crop if there is enough detail. And a slight drop in the highlights too?

Things certainly seem to be happening early this year even though I live on the edge of the Pennines the daffodils are almost in flower. Definitely early for this area.
