Service Stations

I'm thinking of starting a new project of motorway service stations....maybe it will be just dull service stations, before they all turn into trendy pleasant places
....this is for starters....brownie points available for guessing the location...

If everybody was like me, they would have all gone out of business. I only use the toilets, never buy any of the over-priced coffee etc., and certainly not the petrol, at least 10p a litre more than elsewhere.

I believe the one voted nicest by the public was somewhere on the M6 near the Lake District.

It looks vaguely familiar - I suspect it might be Knutsford Service on the M6 in Cheshire...

Could be an interesting project though UK services tend to be less colourful than those on Route 66...

Richard I think the one in the Lakes is Tebay....great farm shop and the best cooked breakfast ever!

Its not Knutsford Nigel...but you're within 50 miles...

Yes Tebay near home. Rumour has after he has completed his service station project, Brian will be moving on to cover electricity pylons...

A pylon fan web site...crazy.
I do a lot of work in the power industry so my interest isn't quite as random as it appears.

It was Frankley Services, M5 South at Birmingham.
