    Mac Application

I've just started using a program on my Mac called Hazel from Noodlesoft. It automates the organisation of files and folders. You can set it up so that when you import photos to the computer it will automagically sort the photos into a folder with the name of the day the photo was taken in any date format you want. If the folder doesn’t exist then it will create it. Once you’ve got it working you can forget about it as it works in the background.

You can also get it to rename and sort downloaded bank statements and utility bills into different folders.
There are several videos on YouTube ('hazel mac app' should find it) which give an idea of what it can do. I’ve only scratched the surface so far but it looks like being a great time saver.

Just thought somebody might find it useful.
