    Gatekeepers view

    nearly didn't bother with this shot due to the flat sky but managed to pull something out during processing

        That works well but wouldn't have been half as good with a totally flat sky Nice inscription on the left - my latin is a bit rusty but I think it says 'no photography'

                    Good images as it is...an alternative might be to off centre the arch....i.e. interesting right hand wall on the right balanced by Arch on the left....might be more interesting visually than a centre composition....just a suggestion...(I should butt out I know its your shot).

                          A lovely scene through the arch. Did you consider cropping a bit tighter to lose some of the rather bland walls?
