    Hello from Utah

    Hello, everyone.

    I'm new to this forum and I hope to learn a lot here. It's nice to find a place with like minded people who enjoy sharing knowledge.

    I currently shoot with:

    80D
    50mm EF 1.8 STM

                        Welcome Limelight - plenty of good advice and guidance here.

                        Feel free to download and use the image below in any way you want - it is the internal workings of a limelight. A cylinder of lime is mounted on the vertical spike at the LH end and the geared controls are all to do with rotating the cylinder (to bring a fresh spot under the flame) and to focus the beam. The other controls are for the oxygen and acetylene which give the fierce flame required. Working one of these must have been damn hot work!
