    Flickr Royalty...

I've just come across a British photographer on Flickr for whom some images have attracted in excess of 500,000 'views' with most being well over 100,000. In an interview he gave to the BBC last year < here > he said: "In some ways, I still haven't got a clue - I can put a photo up that I think is brilliant but it only gets 3,000 likes..." Uh, I'm over the moon if one of my images gets 1,000 views!

Much respect, though, as his work is very, very good such as this one < here > which was second in Flickr's official Top Photos of 2015 list. Shot with the same 5D3 and 24-105 f4 L that many of us use we have no excuses

    Cheers,
    John

It is explore that sends them potty, when the algorithm they use selects the "Top" (and I say "Top" because I do not think mine are in any shape of form) 500 images out of the days tens of thousands of uploads and puts them onto the Explore page, they go barmy...I know I have had three, my last one got 5131 views in a day!!!! Nuts... it was this one, none of which should have made it too Explore...

Taken at Calke Abbey, and a slightly different angle from the previous shot.

Now that guys work linked above IS Stunning
