One of the biggest criticism of the EOS M5 was that the Screen flipped down, so that if you used a tripod or selfie stick you could not flip the screen down.
So here is a work around for that problem and it only cost $19.95
Step 1: You need to get the Desmond L Plate. You need the one with the 3 slots in the bottom. The mounting screw needs to be moved to the back rug.

Step 2: Mount the plate to the camera so that the L of the mount is on the opposite side of the grip.

Note: that mounting it this way, still gives you access to the cable ports as well as access to the battery and SD Card.

Step 4: Now you can mount the camera to the tripod or selfie stick, flip the screen down and you are ready for a selfie.
