    Church of the Good Shepherd

Just a quick edit of a long exposure image from my recent trip to the Southern Hemisphere. I was a bit concerned about the number of people taking selfies around the church with mobile phones etc. But this one seems to have turned out OK. I would welcome your thoughts on it.

      Amazing!!
Is the tilt intentional...could do with a bit of clockwise rotation...I know that would take some of the best parts of the sky away but I can't help seeing the Church on a slant.

Brian I think it's a combination of things, wide angle lens, camera pointing up toward the church from a lower position and my lazy edit during which I didn't do any corrections vertical, horizontal or otherwise. My jet-lagged brain can't currently cope with such technicalities, you may notice the trees are being blown over to the left too

Thank you Tom, I hope you're managing to cope with the "Stella" storm on the East Coast.

A great shot At first I thought the steps were a water cascade

                I thought the same.

Lovely shot Peter. Agree with Brian about giving it a slight clockwise rotation.

Wonky verticals or not that is a nice shot and one most of us will likely never get the chance to take.

Thanks for taking time to look and comment guys. I have some more images to process of the church so I shall take on your suggestions when I process them. I suspect the steps were built to look like a water cascade. At one point there was a guy laying down on them trying to get an image of the church on his phone which to the annoyance of others kept flashing.

Lovely image, Peter, regardless of the need for a slight rotation. Great point of view and making the most of that wonderful sky full of stars.
