Two images from our stay in Mount Cook village. The hotel's two dining rooms had windows looking out at the mountain, both of the rooms had windows which magnified the scene. I didn't notice this but my wife did as we were sat having a nightcap in the hotel bar the windows in the bar weren't magnified which; made me wonder if the architect relied on people in the bar wearing beer goggles

2. I was sent out (from the bar) to capture this. I'm quite surprised I managed to capture anything! especially with the 70-200 hand held. But at 12800 ISO I got the image but it does have some noise.
