    Lime Swallowtail

    Yesterday wasnt a day for shooting outside so we spent the day at the butterfly house near Swindon

    Shot with my 100 f2.8 L IS macro and MR14 ringflash

    Camera set to manual mode ,1/125, f8, ISO 800 which underexposes the background to dim distractions and the ring flash then exposes the butterfly

          was this handheld
          always got to be handheld as there is little room to get a tripod in position for the angles required and if you did manage it the butterfly would be long gone
