    What is staring at me?

Can anyone tell me what is hiding in the hollow of the joint (centre bottom third) of the branch (you may have to look at it on Flickr to zoom in).

Beats me and is quite 'scary' thinking there could be something this small staring back at me/you. I was only trying to get the branch and thorns.

While you are at it, have a look at this little critter also watching me....

Am I the only one who gets 'watched'?
