Just a few images taken @ Dunham Massey 21-03-2017. Trying out for the first time my 70-300mm IS II USM lens, had it for 6 weeks so thought it was time I used it!!

Glad you approve John. Took another image with plants in red wellies, but the pink ones looked best.

Spring has sprung in Dunham Massey for sure.

In bright weather or other situations with high contrast it's worth keeping an eye on the highlights and dialing in a touch of -ve compensation. This particularly true with swans where the detail can blow out very easily.

Nice set. The two swans are a bit overblown- the whites,on my monitor. The others are very nice and sharp.
