    Greenwich

Here's another one from the day with Alan last weekend. Just before this was taken we had packed our tripods away after being invited to pay £250 each for a photography permit. The inference being casual photography is allowed but proper photography (tripods) requires a permit.

Nice processing despite a bit of a halo so assume you used Silver Efex? You were about two inches too far to the left so was there another photographer alongside trying to get the same shot or an officious man in a peaked cap with his hand out?

    Cheers,
    John

Thanks John. Yes Silver Efex. We were running at the time from the man in the peaked hat - hence the two inches too far left

The trick in these situations is to take turns at being a decoy, start setting up a tripod some distance away. When the tripod police move towards him, the other person can then take the shot.
