All 3 are nice and sharp and nice light, 2 is good also because of the catchlight, having the long tail means the bird is always a long way from one side of the frame, don't know how much you have cropped but I would be tempted to have it smaller in the frame and give more room at the front.

    Regards Paul

I agree with Paul's comments Nat, especially regarding the room to the front of the LTT if you have it, it would be great to see. It looks like you had good weather today for capturing these three images, well done.

        Re: Long Tailed Tit

Thanks Paul and Peter for your comments. Much appreciated. I agree with what you have said. However, I wanted to remove some unsightly objects in front and so I cropped it rather tight. However, I still have the originals and can always revert back to how it was.

P.S. Yes, the weather and sun was very good today. Makes all the difference.

Quite right Jeff. Thanks for the info. I have met some of your friends, Roy and Andy already. The best thing with the reserve is that the subjects are well within the reach of my lenses. Quite a few more pics to process.

The best thing is that I don't have to use my 1.4x Kenko with the 70-300mm lens or even the 55-250mm STM lens. The IQ is so much better with the convertor.
