...I tried this out in very low light a few weeks ago without success.....works fine today ...albeit limited to 4 fps....keeper rate was pretty good.

Well done Brian, and I am personally very pleased that you are so happy with the 100D and lens combination, together with the positive comments you are receiving from others on the Forum. I too find the 100D and its lenses first class, so much so that I am seriously contemplating selling my 'more expensive' Canon kit, which includes full frame and L series lenses, as the 100D does virtually everything I want and need.
You are a clear example that a good photo comes from the photographer more than the kit he happens to have, at least in the amateur world.

Well at least my skills are a constant in comparing the 5D3 with 100D....I'm keeping my 5D3 and L glass for paid work....weather sealing, stronger construction, two card slots, better focussing, more frames per second makes it the best choice....but the 100D satisfies most needs and will be used a lot more.

Nice series Brian. The 100D too is an excellent camera. I had one and only sold it for the 760D as the 100D was a bit too small for my hands with my 70-300mmL lens plus Kenko 1.4. However, the 100D plus your EF-s lenses are excellent to carry on holidays.

Thanks Nat, I carry mine everyday wherever I'm travelling....sometimes the 100D and 24mm are in my work bag for any opportunity that arises along the way....I couldn't do that with a larger DSLR.

Excellent images, the second one for me, it really does work and conveys a sense of movement.

Agreed, number two is probably among the best dog shots I've seen - really captures the essence of a dog having fun.
