    Hi from France

I have been doing photography for quite a number of years now but have only just got my first full frame camera (1D MKiv). i am extremely happy with it and coupled with my 70-200 2.8 i take a lot of photographs of mainly birds.
I live in the south west of France near the Pyrenees mountains so i have lots of options for landscapes as well.
I am looking forward to joining in here and getting feedback of my photos.

    HI Jacqueline,

Welcome, don't want to seem picky , but the 1D Mk IV isn't truly a full-frame camera. it has an APS-H size sensor, between APS-C and full frame in size. For whatever reason Canon gave up on APS-H, after the Mk IV, which many people think is a pity. It has an excellent reputation and so holds its resale value very well. An ideal camera for wildlife.
