    Reflections in the Rain

We went to London last Wednesday mainly to see a show but took the cameras to shoot during the morning and early evening. Heavy rain almost put paid to the morning but from the viewing platform on the third level of the Tate Modern, shot this one

Interesting shot, reflections all contained in the frame nicely, what a horrible day though

Really nice shot, just shows you don't need good weather to take a good shot.
Could have done with the person second left to be further forward, for better formation walking though.

Well seen and captured Stan the colours of the umbrellas and bags give the image just that little bit extra IYSWIM

              Mono?

              MONO!!!

For me the POV and the reflections are what makes it so I'd definitely give it a go, and lose that top vertical line.

See, I've completely disagreed with Peter just above. Isn't this forum wonderful?!

                    Re: Reflections in the Rain

                    Thanks for looking guys

Mono, never gave it a thought and don't really think it would work as not enough contrast and the shot is for me mainly about the colours of the umbrellas and bags.............having said that, I will have a look and see if I am proved wrong

                      Re: Reflections in the Rain

Excellent...love it, yes I'd go for mono....and possibly clone out the footstep trail left by the middle person and darken shadows of the walkers on the ground....this could be a real classic....(sorry...it is a classic already)

As suggested, a mono conversion....much prefer the original colour myself
