    Rainbow paint spillage

I saw this when we were in Birmingham recently - the sun was striking a thick glass section that formed part of a stairway and the refracted light spilled down onto a pathway below - it looked just as though someone had spilled a pot of the classic cartoon "rainbow paint"

A good spot, brings a splash of welcome colour to what looks like a pretty run down corner

                  Regards Paul

Quite right Paul - I did consider cloning out the fag ends but decided there were too many!

Like the idea but think I would have gone in closer.

Thanks John - I was wary of getting too close for fear of losing the context of the disparity between the ethereal and the mundane

Great spot, I like that a lot

I'm reminded of a few years ago driving along a straight piece of dual carriageway when I saw a bright splash of colour in the road... then another in a different colour... and another... and another when, at last, I saw the first of the paint tins in the gutter. Clearly the rear door of a decorator's van had come open and we were treated to some street are that Jackson Pollock would have approved of

                          Cheers,
                          John
