Not entirely sure if this is the right section, I recently purchased the mkii 1DX, now the mki was and still is superb but i'd heard the focus tracking was even better on the mkii so was interestead to try it out, I have always struggled a little with keeper rates when using the 2x converter on my 400mm so was keen to see how good it was, and I'm pleased to say it's unbelievable, here are some images taken with the 1 DX MKii with 400 2.8mm with 2x converter.

The clarity and sharpness in my opinion are just outstanding, it really is like cheating!!

Awesome set - now please stop - I have been fighting the urge to look into the mk2 as the touch screen etc kinda bothers me and then you go and post this ^^^^^ your really not helping!

I presume you can disable the touch screen? just asking ;-)

You mean you've been cheating all this time - though that's good to know as i only have the mkI so my work must be 100% skill and judgement

Fight it no longer! Just do it, forgotten about the touch screen, never used it, probably works well in live view I'd imagine but it's just slightly better all round.
