    Dual Battery Chargers

    Hi,

Anybody here using a dual battery charger for either LP-E6 or LP-E12 batteries?

All the models I can find are powered by USB cable and thus either USB port or USB charger. Surely that's not enough juice to charge two batteries simultaneously?

Any recommendations on manufacturers/ suppliers please?

    Cheers

    Lee

Again a bit to much bulk for when travelling...I like the idea of the Hahnel Cube but with less bulk which leads me to this:

But again it's USB...I'd much prefer the standard figure 8 connection to 3pin UK plug!

            Hi,

I have the Hahnel cube for LP-E6 and LP-E6N batteries, you will be surprised at how compact it is. Find it Excellent in use and the dual percentage gauge is an added bonus when charging two batteries. Also comes with a USB port on the back, and plates for other types of battery.

bought mine from WEX with a Hahnel (Orange coloured) extra capacity LP-6N type battery that was on offer at the time.

Been looking for a dual charger but most seem USB powered and lots get poor reviews.

Not seen the Hahnel Cube and looks interesting. Don't know if you can help but any idea of weight plus charger?

                Hi,

I am not able to find weight on Hahnel web site, but with my own usage not much heavier than the Canon charger (7D MkII).

Full spec on WEX though no Weight or Dimensions.

Thanks for reply, I've also not found any info on the weight.

A double charger would be useful for a trip later in the year. Guessing this would be lighter/less bulky than 2 Canon chargers.

Try a company called Expro. I have a dual charger for my E-17 batteries and its mains powered.
