    Poppy Field

I've been looking for a decent poppy field for a while and found this one today whilst driving back from the shop - I could have removed the wire, but I thought it worked and used as a lead in

I like the POV, DOF, lovely colour and aspect ratio but I'm struggling with the wires. There is some texture in the sky and my preference would be to bring that out a bit. No, bring that out a lot

    Cheers,
    John

            Re: Poppy Field

Depends what you want to convey. If it's remembrance then the wires have to go. If it's simply a field of poppies then the wires can stay even though they distract.

That's the type of thing it needs. Much like the original I'd loose a bit of the sky too.

Hi Ian, I like the 1st one even with the wires, but imo the 2nd is a lot better, nice editing

MK II for me. Love the sky. You've also kept the poppies a sensible natural colour; I've been guilty before in turning the reds up with poppy shots.

                          Re: Poppy Field

Both are nice Ian, but I would have been tempted to follow John's original suggestion of losing the wires and bringing out the original sky, rather than plonking a non-original (though very attractive) sky from elsewhere into the image - an adjustment brush with some dehazing to accentuate the colours and structure perhaps?
