    Wilton Windmill and Rape

Often noticed this place signposted off the road between Swindon and Salisbury and got round to making a detour last weekend on the way home.

Well worth it as the field in front had been planted with rape - could not get a near composition to include the field so this is shot with the 300 f4 and 1.4x

Really good Stan. Bu you know what, I'd be tempted to try to shift the parallel lines in the fields so they meet up with the base of the mill

                        Re: Wilton Windmill and Rape

Really good composition and the lead in is greatly improved by the edit.

Could the vibrance be turned up a bit? I seem to recall the yellow of rape is a bit brighter

                        Cheers,
                        John

You won't get an even coverage (too much spray or fertilizer)when it is sprayed the tramlines are wider at the top of closer to the mill than the near end!

But does make good lead lines.

Agree that the edit is an improvement but also agree with Lincs1 that the perspective of the lines looks wrong, the line leading to the mill needs a small clockwise rotation.
