    On reflection......

When we were in Spain recently (now just a distant memory!) we were walking through Pilar de la Horadada and I noticed a building which had very posh polished granite (I think) slabs on the wall.

Well spotted and taken and it's always good to try something new The problem I have with this one is the posters on the right. I see that they serve to remind this is a reflection but I find their distraction overcomes any benefit they provide - but crop them and the image becomes much stronger.

        Cheers,
        John

Hmm, Think you need something to let the viewer know it's meant to be this way and not taken in a snowstorm or through a dirty lens.

You know it's granite but we don't- the lines on the slabs don't hit you quickly enough.

But I agree it's always worth looking for a unique approach

Thanks for looking and commenting folks - I was dubious myself, but though it worth a try - some you win and some.........

Interesting John, not quite sure you achieved what you perhaps saw as a reflection on the day though

I can appreciate what others are saying but I think it was a capture worth the effort. Looks better on Flickr than in the post and its always worth trying something different. As they say 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder'. [My wifes blind by the way].

I have to agree with ColytonJohn on the fact that you have to try something new once in a while. Great shot!

Stan II & Sophia - thank you for looking and for your encouraging comments - I will certainly "keep looking" when I am out and about and try and capture anything I see which I (at least) think might be interesting.
