Wireless transfer images to PC (EOS M6)

    Hi,
I have a new M6 and am trying to work out how to use the wireless connection to transfer images to my PC. I just can't follow the instructions in the manual. I've connected the camera to my network, but when I open the EOS utility it doesn't make a connection. Am I missing something?
    Thanks,
    David

I wonder if the version of Utility you have installed hasn't got the latest updates to support your cameras? try looking at link below and downloading updating to the current version.

      Canon 1DX, 50D, EF500 F4.0 L, EF100-400 f/4.5-5.6L I , EF100-400 f/4.5-5.6L II, EF70-200 f/2.8L II, EF180 f3.5L Macro, EF 24-105 f/4L, EF17-40 f/4L, EF2.0X III, EF1.4X III, 430EX II, MR-14EX...

yep, all done - removed all the old software and did ccleaner scans before downloading all the new software. DPP keeps crashing too which is frustrating. Have downloaded the instruction books for the software and the WIFI utility now as well so will look through those later when I'm not working.

Sometimes with brand new cameras it takes time for computer systems to recognise them ,I would have thought DPP was o.k but it might not have been updated yet .i had the same with the 80D .also you might find you get better results by taking the card out and using a card reader
