Ensemble 1677- A fresh approach to early music

This was another low light concert where the 6D proved invaluable. This ensemble is all out to promote early music inspired by the performances of the French ensemble L'Arpeggiata. It is hoped that many more people around North Wales and also England (a tour of the Cornwall/Bristol area starts next month) enjoy this genre of music and would want to discover more.

Very nice Nat, I have a soft spot for early music so only wish I could hear your photographs but I will look out for 1677 when they're down this way. BTW how could you resist not making the mic muff in the first photo bright red

Thanks John. Another early music fan- although I like all kinds of music. John Hosking, the concert Manager is a first rate musican and composer and for your good luck he is a Cornishman. One time organist at Truro Cathedral. In case you are interested I give details of their concerts in your neck of the woods. 7th June 1.15pm St.Mary's church,Penzance; 8th June Truro Cathedral 1.00 pm;8th June (again) at All Saints Church,Falmouth at 7.30pm;9th June 12.30pm at Chapel of St.Michael's Mount; 9th June (again) at 7.30pm Roseland Parish church, St.Just.
